A THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
Sankalpa Yoga is dedicated to helping people nourish and heal all aspects of themselves. Classes teach awareness through correct and efficient movement patterns [vinyasa] and postures [asana], sensitizing your ability to use your body in a way that will lessen your pain and keep you healthy as you navigate your way through your own life. "If you learn to listen to your body when it whispers, you won't have to hear it when it screams." You can begin at anytime and at any age to learn the skills and tools of yoga to help you live with more grace and ease.
Group classes are available at Beginner, Elementary and Intermediate levels.
Private classes are offered for people who want a program designed especially for them and their unique needs. Yoga as therapy is part of a healthy and complementary self care program aimed at decreasing your pain and helping you to get the most out of your life.
